About the Speaker

Dr Dave Singh

Dr. Dave Singh DMD PhD DDSc

Adjunct Professor, Sleep Medicine, Stanford University

Dr. G. Dave Singh is a leading expert in craniofacial development and sleep medicine, with an impressive academic and professional background. He holds three doctorates, including a Doctor of Dental Medicine, a Ph.D. in craniofacial cleft palate development, and a Doctorate in Orthodontics. Dr. Singh has held prominent positions at institutions like Harvard University and the University of Puerto Rico, where he led NIH-funded research. Currently, he is an Adjunct Professor in Sleep Medicine at Stanford University and has authored over 200 peer-reviewed articles. Dr. Singh is also the inventor of the DNA appliance, the first FDA-approved palatal expander for treating obstructive sleep apnea. His groundbreaking work has earned him numerous accolades, including a lifetime achievement award in 2020.
